New Youth Aviation Program Ready for Take Off in TC

Posted: Updated:

A brand new program is getting ready for take off here in Northern Michigan.

Aviation Explorers will give local youth age 14-20 a chance to focus on flight (and have a lot of fun along the way).

Alex Jokich and Stephanie Adkins checked out what the program will offer in Traverse City on Tuesday morning.

(The new Aviation Explorers post will operate as a partnership between the Experimental Aircraft Association Post 234, U.S. Coast Guard Traverse City and Northwestern Michigan College.  The Open House will take place Wednesday, February 1st from 7-9pm at NMC's Parsons-Stulen Building located at 2600 Aero Park Drive in Traverse City.  For more information, contact Bill Donberg at 231-409-5780 or EAA Chapter 234 via email at pres@eaa234.org or head to the link posted on the left.)
