Reward Offered for Manistee County Robbery Information

Police are now offering a reward for any information on the recent crime spree in Manistee.
The armed robber, who pointed a gun at a clerk and took off with cash is still on the run.
It was the 6th business in Manistee County to be robbed or broken into in a little more than 4 weeks.
Troopers are now working to put together a composite sketch of the suspect who robbed the Admiral Tobacco store on Wednesday.
The Sheriff says it is difficult to pinpoint one reason for the high volume of crimes, but its not unusual for break-ins and robberies to come in streaks.
There have been multiple home break-ins this month in the county as well. The Sheriff added that the state funding cuts have left fewer patrol cars on the streets.
