Jessica Dupnack joined 9&10 News in September 2011 as a general assignment reporter based in Cadillac. She is excited to be able to put her skills to work for Northern Michigan's News Leader!
Jessica is a Michigan State University graduate where she earned a degree in broadcast journalism and a minor in political science. She chose journalism because of her enthusiasm for telling stories and desire to be immersed in current events.
Throughout her college career she received several national awards while reporting for the student newscast at Michigan State University, Focal Point. She went to Las Vegas to receive a second place award in the anchor category from the National Broadcast Association.
After graduation, Jessica headed west to Los Angeles for an internship with FOX News Channel. After completing her internship, Jessica came home to Michigan where she worked at the NBC affiliate in Detroit, WDIV-TV.
Jessica has been fortunate enough to travel around the world since a young age. This has given her an appreciation for diversity and a better understanding where she comes from. Along with her passion for travel, Jessica enjoys spending time with her four dogs and wonderful family and friends.
