Presque Isle County Woman Accused Of Causing Infant's Death Back In Court

A Presque Isle County woman accused of causing the death of her baby appeared back in court today, Tuesday.

Police arrested Karrie Mulka in November for her baby's death in Rogers City

Today, a judge signed an order for an evaluation for criminal responsibility and also an order for a competency examination.

Mulka is charged with Involuntary Manslaughter after accusations she failed to get medical care for her infant after giving birth.

Police began investigating in June.

Neither the prosecution or defense wanted to offer any additional comments on the case.
