Kyle Mitchell - Northern Michigan's News Leader

Kyle Mitchell joined 9 and 10 News in November 2010 as a general assignment reporter based in Cadillac.

Kyle graduated from Indiana University in May of 2009 with a degree in Journalism and a second major in Spanish. He grew up in Grand Blanc, Michigan and is excited to be back in his home state. Kyle loves to travel and treasures the semester he spent studying abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Before coming to Northern Michigan, he worked in the Video Journalist position at CNN's Atlanta headquarters. Prior to that Kyle was an NBC Page based in New York. He has completed several internships, including one with ABC News Nightline and WJRT-TV in Flint, Michigan. While in college, he worked for WTIU-TV as a reporter, segment producer, and production assistant.

In his free time Kyle loves to watch movies, listen to music, and swim laps at the pool.
