Christina Vecchioni joined the 9&10 news team in June 2008 as a General Assignment Reporter. She works out of the 9&10 Petoskey Bureau covering Emmet, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Presque Isle, Mackinac, Otsego, Chippewa, Montmorency, and Luce Counties.
Christina graduated from Central Michigan University, majoring in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts. During her time at CMU, she worked as an anchor, reporter, and producer for News Central 34, a student produced newscast. She also hosted a music segment for the magazine show, Central View. While still in school Christina worked as a reporter and crewmember for WCMU-Public Television. She interned at WJBK Fox 2 in Detroit, as well as WKHM, a news/talk radio station in Jackson.
Christina is originally from the Ann Arbor area, but is looking forward to her new adventure in northern Michigan. She enjoys photography and spending her time outdoors hiking or at the beach.
