He joined 9&10 News in 1990, and spent several years as Sports Director where he created Sports Overtime in 1993. Prior to 9&10 News, Scott has seven additional years of experience in radio and television in Northern Michigan.
In June 2004, Scott and Chief Photojournalist Corey Adkins won a coveted Emmy Award for their production of "The 9&10 News 50th Anniversary Special."
Scott grew up in Northern Michigan and is the proud father of triplets.
