Steps to Placing a Video on MySports Video

Step 1: Record Video
Many people think that you can only record video with camcorders. However, with all the technology out there now you can record video with everything from camcorders to cell phones. Any tool that can record video can be used for placing video on MySports Video.
Step 2: Transfer Video to Your Computer
This step will be different for almost everyone. Consult the manual or guide that came with the device you used to shoot the video and it should have instructions on how to get the video to your computer. If you can't find your guide try looking at the companies web site. Many of them will have online help pages that will be able to guide you through the process.
Step 3: Edit Your Video to Meet MySports Video Requirements
If your video is to large (Over 50mb) or if you just want to edit your video to focus on a specific play or series of plays you will have to edit your video using software on your computer. Also, you may need to use editing software to submit the file to MySports Video in the proper format (.mov, .avi, .wmv). Many computers come with software to help you with this. If you do not have editing software already installed you can find video editing software on the internet. Some cameras will save the video files in a format that can be submitted to MySports video.
Step 4: Upload Video to MySports Video
To upload your video to MySports Video the file must be less that 50mb in size. We have no requirements on quality or length however we do ask that you submit your video in either .wmv, .avi, or .mov formats. Also we ask that you do not include spaces in the name of the file. Depending on how large your video file is, and the speed of your internet connection, the uploading process may take several minutes.
