Overview
A CBS affiliate, WWTV/WWUP-TV 9&10 News brings you 4.5 hours of local news every weekday plus 1 hour each day on the weekend.
We broadcast 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our digital signals, WWTV-DT / WWUP-DT, can be viewed on digital broadcast channels 40 and 49.
In March 2008, the Michigan Association of Broadcasters presented 9&10 News with 10 Broadcast Excellence awards including: Best Newscast, Best News Special, Best News Reporter, and Best Mini Documentary. The ten awards put 9&10 News in first place for the most awards received in Northern Michigan and in Market Division 3.
In addition to the Broadcast Excellence Awards, the Carl E. Lee Award was also presented to 9&10 News Chief Engineer, Lowell Shore. The Carl E. Lee Award recognizes lifetime achievement as a broadcast engineer.
