PARKLAND, Wash. (AP) — Authorities in Tacoma, Wash. say the gunman who killed four police officers at a coffee shop today may have been wounded by one of the officers. Officials say two of the officers where shot at a table. One was shot standing up and the other made it outside and was able to get off some shots.
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (AP) — An explosion at a middle school in southeastern Virginia has left eight workers injured. The explosion happened in Newport News. The injured were employees for a contractor doing repairs. LONDON (AP) — The World Health Organization says people infected with the virus that causes AIDS should start treatment earlier than currently recommended. The U.N. agency issued new guidance advising doctors to start giving patients AIDS drugs a year or two earlier than usual. WINDERMERE, Fla. (AP) — Tiger Woods's agent says Woods has nothing else to say about Friday's car crash outside his home. There apparently won't be a voluntary meeting with police investigating the crash. Earlier, Woods issued a statement on his Web site saying the matter is "embarrassing" and that he takes the blame. NEW YORK (AP) — Americans consider Rush Limbaugh the nation's most influential conservative voice. That's according to a poll conducted by "60 Minutes" and Vanity Fair magazine. The radio host was picked by 26 percent of those who responded. He was followed by Fox News Channel's Glenn Beck at 11 percent.
