TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — An evening prayer vigil will be held at a church in Tacoma, Wash. for the four slain Lakewood police officers gunned down in a coffee shop today. Investigators say the officers, three men and a woman, were catching up on paper work when the gunman opened fire in what appears to be a planned attack.

(AP) — Tiger Woods' agent says the golf star wants to protect his family's privacy and that he has nothing more to say about his early Friday car crash outside his home. Earlier, Woods posted a statement on his Web site saying it was his fault and that his wife acted courageously. NEW YORK (AP) — Consumers concerned about the economy appear to be making shopping lists and checking them twice. Sales items including flat-panel TV's and fleece jackets are moving briskly. Analysts say holiday sales have been steady so far. Online sales have risen about 11 percent compared to last year.
