WASHINGTON (AP) — A top Republican senator wants to postpone efforts to overhaul health care to focus on how to pay for the war in Afghanistan. Indiana Sen. Richard Lugar tells CNN there are many issues to consider involving President Barack Obama's expected new war strategy -- and how much it will cost.

BAGHDAD (AP) — The U.S. military says an American soldier in Iraq has died of injuries unrelated to combat. The soldier was assigned to the Multi-National Division-South. The military says an investigation is under way.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Two senators say authorities should pursue criminal charges against a Virginia couple who crashed last week's White House state dinner. Indiana Democrat Evan Bayh and Arizona Republican Jon Kyl tell "Fox News Sunday" that such behavior should be strongly discouraged.

WINDERMERE, Fla. (AP) — Tiger Woods and his wife are expected to answer authorities' questions about the golfing great's SUV accident. A police report says Woods ran over a fire hydrant with his Cadillac Escalade, then smashed into a tree. Officials could also release 911 tapes from the accident as soon as today.

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — The United Arab Emirates' central bank has announced it will stand behind local and foreign banks operating in the country. The Gulf nation's federal government is racing to curtail investor fears over Dubai's crushing debt.
