MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Authorities in Wisconsin say four people have been injured in what police are calling a domestic shooting in a Madison home. They say the two adults and two children have been taken to a hospital with gunshot wounds. The suspected shooter is apparently among the injured.

CHICAGO (AP) — A research firm says shoppers spent only slightly more in stores the day after Thanksgiving than they did last year. But there are signs of much stronger online sales. Web marketing analyst Coremetrics says the average amount online shoppers spent on Black Friday rose 35 percent.

UGLOVKA, Russia (AP) — Officials say a powerful homemade bomb sent a high-speed Russian train off its tracks, killing at least 26 people. They say as many as 100 people have been injured in the derailment of the Moscow-to-St. Petersburg train. The bombing is being investigated as a terror attack.

GENEVA (AP) — Swiss police say they fired tear gas and rubber bullets to separate violent demonstrators. They say 3,000 people were protesting the upcoming meeting of the World Trade Organization. More than a dozen people were arrested after windows were smashed and cars set ablaze.
