KABUL (AP) — Three people, including two children, have been killed by a bomb in an Afghan province on the border with Pakistan. PESHAWAR, Pakistan (AP) — The Pakistani military says troops have killed 18 militants in a fresh offensive against insurgents blamed for a wave of recent bombings in the northwestern city of Peshawar. COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford faces what could be the beginning of the end of his time in office today as a seven-member panel of the state House Judiciary Committee begins impeachment proceedings. CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) — It's a half-day of rest aboard the international space station/space shuttle complex after three successful spacewalks. This afternoon, the 12 space travelers will part company and close the hatches between them. Shuttle Atlantis will undock tomorrow.
