First, send them to Tom Wise for a Hunter's safety course; then give them some hours on the shooting range for practice. Then, they may only hunt with a competent adult. ALWAYS be sure of your target. Look ahead of it and behind it. MAKE SURE IT"S CLEAR. You're no Clint Eastwood; you're not going to shoot accurately 100% of the time. Hopefully they've all learned their lesson and will practice SAFETY FIRST. A deer isn't worth dying or killing someone.
How can this be an accident when there were 33 dear(sp), and only 20 hunters. They shold have all hit one and been done. That would leave 13 dear(sp) for someone else.
Its really no wonder why so many people think hunters are bumbling idots... As a life time hunter I have fought this stigma all my life, and its stories like this one that make my shake my head in disgust... Lets use a little common sense people your using a firearm and your going to sand in a circle and fire into the center?!?!?! lucky only one person was injurded and not that badly It could have been much much worse!!
