WASHINGTON (AP) — Defense Secretary Robert Gates is setting up a probe of the events surrounding the Fort Hood shootings. He's putting former Army Secretary Togo West and former Navy chief Vernon Clark in charge of a broad Pentagon review. Gates says the 45-day review will deal partly with gaps in how the military identifies service members who might be a threat to others.

ATLANTA (AP) — When the air traffic control computers can't talk to their counterparts around the country, that spells trouble for air travelers. It's the situation that developed this morning after a circuit board failed at a computer center in Salt Lake City. It meant delays lasting hours for some passengers nationwide today.

WASHINGTON (AP) — It's not an issue that Democrats are eager to address in health care reform plans -- but a new poll finds support for limits on medical malpractice lawsuits. About a third are opposed.

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — Army officials plan to prevent media from covering Sarah Palin's appearance at Fort Bragg in North Carolina on Monday. They say they're afraid the event will turn into political grandstanding against President Barack Obama. A Fort Bragg spokesman says the Army doesn't want the book-signing event to become a platform for Palin supporters to voice opinions against the commander-in-chief.

ALSIP, Ill. (AP) — A Chicago-area cemetery that was shut down after four former workers were accused of digging up graves so they could resell burial plots is open again. Burr Oak Cemetery reopened this morning. People were taken by bus into the cemetery to visit the graves of loved ones. The historic black cemetery had been closed for nearly four months.
