Man Tasered, Arrested on Several Counts in Emmet County » View Picture » Play Video » Feedback (0)
Troopers in Petoskey had their hands full with a man they say assaulted his girlfriend, shouted racial slurs at them and bent the frame of their patrol car door.
The incident happened at the bar Bobs Place around 12:30 Tuesday morning. When troopers arrived they say the 36-year old man from Alanson started insulting them and they told him he was under arrest. He refused to comply, slammed his hands on the glass door and began to come at them. Troopers had to taser him, but once they got him in the patrol car he started kicking and had to be restrained further. He is now in the Emmet County Jail and faces several charges including domestic violence, resisting arrest and destruction of police property.
