Two Cadillac Women Win a Million Dollars in Lottery » View Picture » Play Video » Feedback (7)
Two Northern Michigan women will split a million dollar ticket. One of them owns the store where they bought the ticket, at Thirsty's Party Store. The ladies from Cadillac frequently buy scratch-off tickets together, and this was their biggest win so far.
As of Wednesday night, neither they nor 9&10 News could confirm the win with the Michigan State Lottery office, since it was closed for Veterans Day. So the ladies are trying to contain their excitement, but it sure looks like a winner. It's also possible that the business owners will also get a cut of the winnings, since it came from their store. But they don't know how much or if that will happen for sure. That's something they will talk to the lottery office about Thursday. 9&10's Jodi Hathaway and photojournalist Stephanie Adkins have the story.
