An elderly man is in the hospital after rear ending a skid loader in Isabella County.

The accident happened Saturday night just before 7:00 on North Leaton Road in Denver Township.

80-year old Howard Shea of Coleman was driving the pickup and suffered chest trauma and several broken bones. He was flown to a Grand Rapids hospital. Ryan Sykora, a 16-year old from Rosebush, was driving the skid loader and was not hurt.
