ATLANTA (AP) — A spokesman for Delta says a jetliner headed to Philadelphia had to return to the gate just before takeoff from Atlanta because of an engine fire. All 138 passengers were evacuated from the plane without incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation. CANCUN, Mexico (AP) — Officials are getting storm shelters ready along Mexico's Caribbean coast amid warnings that Tropical Storm Ida could become a hurricane as it nears the resort city of Cancun. Tropical storm warnings are also in effect for western Cuba and Grand Cayman Island.
