JERUSALEM (AP) — Israel's military says its navy has captured an arms ship bout 100 miles off Israel's coast. Israeli officials say the vessel and its cargo were heading from Iran to Hezbollah guerillas in Lebanon. Defense ministry officials say the shipment included anti-tank missiles.

KHAR, Pakistan (AP) — In Pakistan, an official reports that a group of militants has killed two women teachers in an ambush. Pakistan's Taliban fighters are deeply opposed to modern education, particularly for girls.

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iran's state news agency says an earthquake has injured at least 700 people in the country's south. But the agency says no one has died in the 4.9-magnitude quake, which cut power and telephone lines and sent residents streaming into the streets.
