A passing car hit and killed a man as he tried crossing M-72 in Grand Traverse County.

It happened Saturday Night at the entrance to the Turtle Creek Casino in Williamsburg.

The man was taken to Munson and later pronounced dead from his injuries.

No criminal charges are expected for the driver of the car.
