An apartment fire in Gladwin County Tuesday night left six families without a place to live.

Neighbors scrambled though to get everyone out of the burning building at Three Forks Apartments in Beaverton.

The man in whose apartment the fire started was hospitalized.

Community efforts to help those displaced by the fire are still being organized.
