A stretch of road in Isabella County is considered one of the top 10 most dangerous in Michigan.

The Michigan Department of Transportation says about 37,800 vehicles travel the quarter mile stretch of road each day.

Traffic volumes, along with a concentration of businesses make it a dangerous place to drive.

The Mt. Pleasant City Police have stepped up patrols on the dangerous road, running from Broomfield St. to Appian Way on S. Mission St. in Isabella County.
