Jeffry Picower was found by his wife at the bottom of the pool at his oceanside mansion in Florida. Picower was 67.

CAMARILLO, Calif. (AP) — The average price of regular gasoline in the United States has jumped 17.8 cents over a two-week period to $2.66. That's according to the national Lundberg Survey of fuel prices released today. It's the first rise in the national retail price of gas since late July.
