A downstate motorist is dead following a one vehicle roll over accident Friday in Mackinac County.
   The sheriff's department there says the accident happened just after 3:30 p.m. on U.S. Two, in Hudson township, west of Epoufette.
   Deputies say their 9-1-1 dispatch center had received several calls indicating that an S.U.V. was driving recklessly.
   The investigation reveals that the driver attempted to pass but lost control of his vehicle, which overturned several times, and came to rest on a beach near the Lake Michigan shoreline.
   The driver was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at Helen Newberry Joy Hospital.
   No one else was in the S.U.V.
   The name of the victim has not yet been released.
