VIENNA (AP) — A team of U.N. inspectors is heading to Iran to visit a recently revealed nuclear site. Experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency plan to examine an unfinished uranium enrichment facility near the holy city of Qom (kohm) to verify that its purpose is peaceful.

ST. MARTINS, Mo. (AP) — After a two-day search for a 9-year-old Missouri girl, her body has been found and a juvenile has been taken into custody. Police say the suspect was an acquaintance of Elizabeth Olten, whose body was found in a wooded area yesterday.

ORANGE PARK, Fla. (AP) — Florida investigators are looking for possible witnesses as they search for the killer of 7-year-old Somer (SUH'-mur) Thompson. Her body was found in a Georgia landfill two days after she vanished on her way home from school. At a vigil outside her home last night, her mother joined mourners in singing the girl's favorite song, "You Are My Sunshine."

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The first officer of the Northwest Airlines jet that missed its destination by 150 miles tells The Associated Press, "We were not asleep; we were not having an argument; we were not having a fight." Richard Cole wouldn't discuss why it took so long for the pilots to respond to radio calls, but says "airplanes lose contact with the ground people all the time."
