ORANGE PARK, Fla. (AP) — An aunt of 7-year-old Somer Thompson says she can't think of anything worse than killing a child and dumping her "like a piece of trash." Authorities believe a body found in a landfill near the Florida-Georgia state line is that of the Florida girl who disappeared on her walk home from school on Monday. Police have questioned dozens of registered sex offenders living in the area.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Companies that haven't yet paid back their government bailouts are going to have to make big cuts in the salaries of their top executives. The order is expected today from the Treasury Department. A Treasury official who was appointed to handle compensation issues is making the pay decisions.

NEW YORK (AP) — Stocks are mixed in early trading, after investors got a worse-than-expected reading on the labor market. The government says the number of workers filing for jobless benefits for the first time rose more than expected last week.

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — An Iranian parliament official is rejecting a plan to have Iran ship its uranium overseas for enrichment. The remarks reported by Iran's official news agency are the first reaction in Tehran to the proposal, worked out during three days of talks between Iran and world powers in Vienna. Tehran is expected to decide by tomorrow whether to approve the plan. The deputy parliament speaker doesn't speak for the government.

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — Defense Secretary Robert Gates says he's going to urge NATO allies this week to provide more economic and security aid to Afghanistan. NATO officials have signaled that they won't ask member nations to send more troops until the Obama administration decides whether more American troops will be sent there.
