Some local probate judges are concerned over a Department of Human Services budget bill.
As the bill stands now, they say they would have to pay more money to private adoption agencies and foster care services, or DHS services.
In a press release from Midland County, Bay County, Saginaw County, Tuscola County and Isabella County, the judges expect to lose tens of thousands of dollars if this bill passes.
They worry it will hurt other family services they provide.
Many hope the governor will veto the current bill.
