Victim identified in Clare Co. Motorcycle/Deer Accident

   Clare County deputies have released the name of the man who died when his motorcycle struck a deer Saturday afternoon.
   Deputies say 48 year old James Trimble of Weidman lost his life when his machine struck the animal on South Rodgers Avenue north of East Mannsiding road in Arthur township.
   Deputies got the call at about 1:45 p.m., and found the victim dead at the scene.

I haven't seen Jim in about 20 years. We grew up around the corner from each other. My heart breaks. He was a great guy and will be sorely missed.

Sorry to hear a fellow biker lost his life doing what he loved. We usually dont think of deer being active in the middle of the afternoon, but you never know. My sincerest condolences to his family.
