One sibling is in jail, one sibling is in the hospital after a terrible crash at a Mio home over the weekend.

Police in Oscoda County arrested 22 year-old Brandon Plaga Saturday for driving drunk and plowing his Chevy Malibu into his own home, causing serious injuries to his 17 year-old sister who was inside at the time.

Amanda Plaga is now in serious but stable condition. She was taken to Saginaw St. Mary's Hospital in serious condition on Saturday, but is now expected to make a complete recovery.

"I cannot believe [Brandon] did that," says Bobby Elder, a neighbor who lives down the street from the Plagas. "I wish it'd never happened."

Plaga was charged in court today with operating under the influence causing serious injury.
