A Grand Traverse County boy has more money for treatment after a fundraiser dinner.
Patrick Burch is from Williamsburg but the community gathered in Elk Rapids for Thursday night's event. It's the eighth annual fundraiser.
Patrick's family has tried several different treatments to help him fight cerebral palsy.
His mother says it will take a couple fundraisers to get the money to try stem cell therapy. It's where stem cells search out, detect, then repair any damage.
"It's really nice to have that real small community support; we're very grateful for it," Michelle Burch, Patrick's mother, said.
