A new medical clinic called Mackinaw City Medical Clinic will soon open in Mackinaw City.

It will be the only health clinic in the village. Currently people in Mackinaw City have to travel to St. Ignace, Cheboygan or Petoskey for health services.

This clinic is a branch of Mackinac Straits Health System, based in St. Ignace.

Construction is expected to be done and the clinic is expected to open mid-November.
