An observant neighbor helped police catch a man suspected of stealing guns from an Otsego County home.    

The break-in happened in the Lake Louise subdivision near Johannesburg early Sunday morning.

When confronted, the suspect pointed one of the gun cases at the witness.   

He managed to wrestle the case away and the suspect ran.

The witness then called 911.

Police say the suspect confessed to the break-in and took them to a wooded area where the stolen property was.

He's now in the Otsego County jail.
