LUZERNE, Mich. (AP) — Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal house fire in northern Lower Michigan.
Oscoda County Sheriff Kevin Grace says 70-year-old Clifford Webb died Monday when his Luzerne home burned down.
The Bay City Times reports Wednesday that an autopsy revealed Webb died of smoke inhalation.
A 47-year-old woman escaped the blaze with minor injuries.
Grace says the cause of the fire is still unknown but foul play is not suspected.
