Fire tore through an Oscoda County home, claiming the life of one person. It happened early this morning at a home on South Deeter Road in Luzerne.

When firefighters arrived at the home, it was fully engulfed. A 47-year-old woman who was living there, got out safely. There was too much smoke for firefighters to make it in the home to find the other person. After putting out the fire, they discovered the body. An autopsy will be done to identify the victim.
