NEWPORT, Mich. (AP) — Authorities say a car heading the wrong way on northbound Interstate 275 in Monroe County has collided with a semi-truck.

The sheriff's department tells WWJ-AM there was one minor injury in the crash about 4:30 a.m. Wednesday near Newport.

The crash about 28 miles southwest of Detroit forced authorities to close northbound lanes of the freeway during their investigation.
