A Crawford County business owner is left picking up the pieces after his repair shop burned down. Investigators are calling the fire suspicious.
Harly Dave's motorcycle repair shop in Frederic burned down June 28th. The owner of the shop was out of town.
Firefighters got the call just before seven in the morning. Investigators say a neighbor heard two vehicles leaving the business about an hour before firefighters got there.

Times are bad here in Crawford county and Grayling/Frederic. No money to even prosecute sex offenders or hit and run drivers. I think they should look a little closer into this and just because the owner is out of town doesnt mean he doesnt have family/friends. I expect to see alot more "things" happening to our closed/failing/ businesses. The construction has practically killed this town but they say its for our own good. So far I havent met one citizen or business owner that thinks giving up a two lane business loop for a one lane with a left turn lane is a good idea. We are slowly becoming a ghost town and with empty buildings and fire gutted buildings we will soon like like down town Detroit and we all know what a haven for tourists that is. To get to Traverse Downstaters usually come up 75 and cross thru Grayling. What a lovely ride it has been for them. This winter will see alot more businesses go under.
