Two people riding a motor-cycle are hospitalized in Grand Rapids, after their cycle struck a vehicle that failed to yield to them, according to deputies.
The Mecosta County sheriff's department says the accident happened on Northland Drive, at 11 mile road in Mecosta Township, shortly before five thirty Friday evening. Deputies say a 48 year old man from Stanwood was driving the vehicle that failed to yield the right of way to the motorcycle, and was struck. The victims on the cycle were first taken to Mid-Michigan Medical Center, and then airlifted to Spectrum Hospital in Grand Rapids. Their conditions are not known.
