One Northern Michigan car dealership asked the community to start their engines for a good cause.

Fox Motors in Charlevoix will be donating $40 for every person who took one of their cars for a test drive.

The fundraiser took place yesterday and today and says all the money raised will go toward the Boyne City School District.

Managers say these fundraisers are a great way to bring people into the dealership, as well as helping to raise money for kids in the community.

Fox Motors says even though they're losing GM a year and a half from now, they're not going to let financial trouble stop them from donating.

If you didn't get a chance to take a car for a test drive this time, Fox Motors says they are planning on having another fundraiser in the fall.
