Police in Cheboygan County are searching Mullet Lake in Topinabee for 2 boaters that went missing sometime yesterday evening.

Police say a couple went missing last night. The canoe the couple was last seen in has been recovered.

The Sheriff says there is a search and rescue mission underway right now including a dive team standing by.

Police say if nothing is recovered tonight, they will resume searching in the morning.
