The DNR is hoping that hundreds of people who came for a classic car and motorcycle show will come back for the park.

The 3rd Annual Classic Car and Motorcycle Show took place today at the South Higgins Lake State Park in Roscommon County.

Park officers say the car show is part of a State wide promotion to get more people to come and stay at their parks.

Officers say about 500 people came through today and they're hoping that all of them will come back to camp and visit after seeing what the park has to offer.

Today's event is just one of many planned for this year and park officers say they think events like these are a great way to draw people in.

Next weekend, South Higgins Lake State Park will host a boat and RV show.
