  Unfortunately, most people will blame the governor for this closing. It's the downfall of the Big 3 and no revenue for the state. Don't blame the governor, she's tightening Michigan's belt. The demise of the Big 3 and their short-sightedness are to blame.

  This faciliy closing will be hard on all of the the community. Remember all of those guards who can not be absorbed into local prisons will either . be laid off or transfer to other prisons else where.
