Chemical Recycling in Emmet County on Sept. 25

People in Emmet County will be able to do plenty of recycling they can't normally do in one easy stop.

On Saturday, September 25th, the Emmet County Recycling center will be taking items like plant containers, household chemicals, doing big document shredding and disposal of prescription drugs.

The key is to make it as simple as possible for people to come out and get rid of their unusual and un-needed items.

Chemical recycling is by appointment only.

The special event runs from nine in the morning until noon on September 25th at the Emmet County Recycling Center.
