MSU 16, Michigan 18 in first BCS Rankings

The Michigan State Spartans beat the University of Michigan for the fourth consecutive year, and also jumped ahead of them in the rankings. The first BCS Standings were announced Sunday, and the Spartans are 16th. The Wolverines are ranked 18th. Six Big Ten teams are in the top 25, with Wisconsin leading the way at number six. The Spartans host Wisconsin in a primetime matchup this Saturday. The Wolverines are off this weekend. A pair of SEC teams are at the top, with LSU holding a .0003 point edge over Alabama for the top spot. The top two teams at the end of the year square off for the National Title, however Alabama and LSU are scheduled to play each other November 5th.
