Planting Potted Pansies For Your Patio

Exterior home improvements are a given in the spring and summer months—but there must be a way to change up your home’s look without a lot of time.

Potted plants are an easy way to add pops of color to outdoor spaces, and they have high flexibility because they can be placed in many different locations.

’s Allison Jackson walks us through planting pansies in a plastic or clay pot—with a fun candle in the center.

  • Potting soil
  • Local Stone (used for drainage in bottom of planting container)

saucer as base for candle.

Note-If using a lit candle, be sure to use a glass hurricane globe to contain fire and reduce fire danger. Do not leave lit candle unattended.
