Bill Making Drivers Leave 3 Feet of Clearance for Bikes Heads to Governor’s Desk

Drivers will have to allow three feet of clearance while passing a bike on the road, once a bill is signed into law.

The Senate approved the bill Tuesday.

It also puts a section in the driver education course to teach teen drivers about laws centered around cyclists.

The bill is headed to the governor’s desk.
