Man Arrested in Leelanau Co. For Driving Drunk For 10th Time

What started with a car in a snow bank along a Leelanau County road, led to the arrest of a man for driving on a suspended license for the tenth time.

Deputies found the car in Empire Township around 7 New Year’s morning.

The driver was passed out behind the wheel.

Deputies say he lied about who was driving, and was not cooperative.

They arrested him on suspicion of drunk driving, and driving on a suspended license, which he’s been convicted of nine times before.
