Adopt A Pet Tuesday: Otis, Emmie & Alice
It’s Adopt a Pet Tuesday on Michigan This Morning!
This week we have Otis, Emmie and Alice – just three of Northern Michigan’s many great, adoptable animals waiting for a loving family to take them home.
Otis is a 1-year-old male terrier, pit bull, Chinese shar-pei. Otis is neutered. We’re told he takes time to warm up to new people. But once he knows he’s safe, he’ll love you unconditionally. Otis has lived with young kids and with proper instructions, can live with another dog. Otis is at the Humane Animal Treatment Society in Mount Pleasant, waiting to meet his forever family.
Emmie is a young Boston terrier and English bulldog mix. She is houstrained. Emmie is described as comical, affectionate and silly. She loves belly rubs, toys and people. Emmie would do well in a home with children, but not cats. Emmie is waiting to meet her new family at the Ausable Valley Animal Shelter in Grayling.
Alice is a 3-month-old domestic short hair. Alice is spayed. We’re told she can be a little skittish, but that she does get along with other cats. Alice is looking for a quite home where she can be herself and have some fun. If Alice is the perfect cat for you, you can meet her at the Cheboygan Humane Society.
Tune in to MTM each Tuesday at 5:20 a.m. and 8:50 a.m. for more lovable Northern Michigan pets in search of families of their own!
