Facebook Opens Up to Younger Users With ‘Messenger Kids’
Facebook is opening up to new, younger users.
Kids under 13 years old can now use the app to chat with their friends, make calls with kid-friendly filters and send age-appropriate images.
Parents need to set up the accounts for their children and approve who they can communicate with.
A preview version of the feature called ‘Messenger Kids’ rolls out Monday on Apple devices.
Android and Kindle versions will be released at a later date.
